Welcome to my recipe blog! I hope I can give you some inspiration to try some new recipes. I started this because I was feeling in a rut with my cooking. When I would find a new recipe online I was saving the page but then my bookmarks were overloaded. This is an easier way for me to keep them organized AND to share them with my friends and family. I typically create a monthly menu that includes links to the recipes on here. I have not figured out how to upload my menu to the blog but if you are interested, send me your e-mail and I will get it to you. We are pretty plain eaters around here so nothing fancy but it's mostly kid friendly that way.

If you try a recipe, please leave a comment on how it was. Any advice or tips for that recipe would be great too.

Happy Cooking!

BBQ Chicken Ring

("simple shapes" From the pampered chef cookbooks)
Unroll 2 packages of regular refrigerated crescent rolls. Separate into 16 triangles- arrange , slightly overlapping, in a circle on a large baking stone with the points hanging slightly off the outer edge of the stone. Press the dough slightly to flatten it out a bit more.

I mix in a large bowl- shredded/cubed chicken (probably 2-3 ave size breasts), about 2 c shredded cheese, and BBQ sauce (amount depends on how saucy you like it). I scoop the mixture into the ring as shown above.

Bring the points of the triangles up over the filling and tuck under the dough at the center to form a ring (some filling will show). You can sprinkle a little more shred cheese on top if you choose.

Bake at 375 for 25-30 min.
